Blog: A Day of Insight and Innovation at the National Motorcycle Museum

In July, we hosted an event at the prestigious National Motorcycle Museum, with a primary focus on digital transformation in the construction industry. In this blog post, Martin Belcher, Business Developer at 4PS, shares his insights and highlights from the event, providing an exclusive look at the day’s happenings.

Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting an executive briefing titled ‘Digitising Your Construction Business’ at the iconic National Motorcycle Museum. The event, organised by 4PS Construction Solutions, was a resounding success, marked by insightful discussions, engaging interactions, and showcasing the latest technology designed specifically for the construction industry.

The National Motorcycle Museum, situated on Coventry Road, Bickenhill, Solihull, was a fitting backdrop for an event focused on innovation and transformation. The museum’s unique blend of history and modernity mirrored our discussions on digital transformation in the construction industry. The spacious and well-equipped conference room provided a comfortable environment for our attendees. At the same time, the option of a free guided tour of the museum added an extra layer of interest to the day.

The day began with a warm welcome over tea and coffee, setting the tone for the friendly and collaborative atmosphere that prevailed throughout the event. The attendees, a mix of industry experts, business leaders, and construction professionals, brought a wealth of knowledge and experience. Their active participation and insightful queries significantly enriched the discussions.

Our agenda was packed with informative sessions, starting with an introduction to digital transformation in construction. This was followed by an introduction to 4PS and its potential role in the digital transformation journey of construction businesses. The subsequent sessions focused on digitising the on-site manager and the project lifecycle, offering practical insights and strategies for the attendees.

One of the highlights of the day was the lunch break. The culinary team at the National Motorcycle Museum outdid themselves, providing a spread that was as delightful to the palate as it was pleasing to the eye. The menu perfectly blended traditional and contemporary cuisine, catering to a wide range of dietary preferences. The quality of the food was exceptional, with fresh ingredients and exquisite flavours that left our guests impressed and satisfied.

The post-lunch session was a Q&A segment where industry experts shared their experiences with digital transformation. This session was particularly enlightening, offering real-world examples and practical advice to those embarking on their digital transformation journey.

As the day drew to a close, the attendees left with a better understanding of digitising their construction business, and the taste of the excellent food and the memory of the unique venue was still fresh in their minds. The event was not just about learning and networking but also about creating an experience that our guests would remember.

In conclusion, ‘Digitising Your Construction Business’ was a day of learning, networking, and enjoyment. The combination of a unique venue, engaging sessions, a diverse group of attendees, and exceptional food made it a truly memorable event. We look forward to welcoming you to our future events and creating more such memorable experiences.
