At 4PS, championing people is at the heart of everything we do, and we’re proud to see that commitment recognised on a national stage. From empowering future leaders to supporting mental health and wellbeing, we’re dedicated to creating a workplace where everyone can thrive. That’s why we’re absolutely delighted to be recognised across three categories at this year’s Inspiring Women in Construction and Engineering Awards.
We’re thrilled to announce that 4PS has been shortlisted in three categories at the 2025 Inspiring Women in Construction and Engineering Awards, run by Construction News and New Civil Engineer.
Our Operations & HR Director, Val Clarke, has once again been recognised in the Inspirational Leader – Supplier category. This award honours women in leadership roles who drive positive change, inspire teams, and lead with integrity and purpose.
We’re also incredibly proud that 4PS has been shortlisted for Next Generation Employer of the Year, a category that recognises organisations going above and beyond to attract, retain, and develop young talent in the construction and engineering sectors.
Finally, our commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive workplace has been acknowledged with a shortlisting for Excellence in Mental Health and Wellbeing. This category celebrates companies that are actively improving mental health outcomes for their employees through meaningful initiatives and support.
The winners will be revealed at the Inspiring Women in Construction and Engineering Conference & Awards on 16 September at the Royal Lancaster, London.
Speaking about the recognition, Val Clarke said:
“Being shortlisted alongside such inspiring individuals and organisations is a huge honour. At 4PS, we believe that a strong business is built on trust, wellbeing, and opportunity. I’m proud that our work to support the next generation and prioritise mental health has been recognised alongside my own nomination. These shortlists are a reflection of the fantastic team we have and the culture we’re building, which is one where people can thrive, grow, and bring their whole selves to work.”
Congratulations to Val and the entire 4PS team for this outstanding recognition, and best of luck to all the finalists! We look forward to celebrating the achievements of women and companies making real change across construction and engineering.
